Novelist’s debut legal thriller now an e-book for charity0

A former trial lawyer, Levine entered the thriller scene 20 years ago with the publication of TO SPEAK FOR THE DEAD, the first novel in his series featuring linebacker-turned-lawyer Jake Lassiter. The book was translated into 15 languages and adapted into an NBC World Premiere Movie in 1995.

TO SPEAK FOR THE DEAD is now available as an e-book in multiple formats. Priced for a limited time at $2.99, Levine is donating 100% of the royalties for TO SPEAK FOR THE DEAD to the Four Diamonds Fund, which supports cancer treatment and research at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital.

In addition to seven Lassiter novels, Levine has also written two stand-alone thrillers and four suspense novels featuring lawyers Steve Solomon and Victoria Lord. Levine has also worked in television, having written 20 episodes of the CBS military drama JAG and co-creating the Supreme Court show First Monday, starring James Garner and Joe Mantegna.
